Real Time Encoder for 4 CVBS Composite to H.264 streams on ASI or IP outputs

This is a 4 channel encoder for converting 4 channels of Analog SD video and audio content input to ASI and IP outputs.  Each of the 4 encoders can be independently configured for bit rate and PID management.  Encoding is based on high-level H.264 codec and bit rates up to 19 Mbps per channel are supported.  This platform is ideal for reducing the rack space required for HD program encoding for content source origination and distribution.  Ideally suited for CATV headend program aggregation or high-end CCTV systems.  All encoded programs are multiplexed to multi-program transport stream (MPTS) outputs on both ASI and IP.  Additionally, single program transport stream (SPTS) outputs are provided for all inputs on the IP network output.  All settings are available via the front panel as well as a web-based network management system.  This unit also provides a one channel ASI input that can multiplex 1 additional program to the outputs from an ASI source.  This highly flexible system dramatically lowers the cost per channel for real-time SD video encoding.
