Our fiber optic equipment is engineered to use different colors of light to carry multiple signals on the same fiber. With fiber optics we can process a tumultuous amount of signals on a single fiber providing the end user a simple and convenient solution to transport their audio/video signal. Up to 60 different colored lasers are available with each laser carrying up to a 10 Gigabit signal. This technique is known as wavelength division multiplexing. When used with a larger number of light colors it is known as either Course or Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM, CWDM, or DWDM).
