The F-3G-SDI-2D-2T-TxRx : 1-channel 3G-SDI Fiber Transmission System is a professional-grade optical transceiver designed for long-distance video, data, and tally signal transport over a single optical fiber. It features one 3G-SDI input with loop-out, two reverse RS-485 data channels, and two reverse tally channels (one red, one green), providing a complete camera-to-control-room communication link.
The system is compliant with EN50083-9, SMPTE259M(C), SMPTE292M, and SMPTE424M standards, ensuring full compatibility with broadcast video formats including SD, HD, and 3G-SDI. The integrated SFP optical module supports pathological code video and irregular bitrates, maintaining stable video image transmission under any condition. Built-in clock recovery and jitter reduction circuits restore signal integrity, while input cable equalization compensates for signal loss over long coax runs—supporting up to 100 meters of SDI cable.
The RS-485 data interface provides transparent, real-time control signal return, ideal for camera control units (CCU), PTZ commands, or intercom systems. The dual tally return function provides camera status indication to operators or talent on set, with separate red and green light control channels.
The device operates on a wide 5–30V DC power range, supporting both barrel DC and USB Type-C inputs for flexible power options in studio or field use. Utilizing single-mode fiber, the transmission distance can reach up to 20 km without loss or delay.
