The F-4SDI-3G-GET-TXRX-RM is a flexible system that allows customers to send 4 unique 3G SDI video signals and bi-directional Gigabit Ethernet over a single fiber link, with distances 20,40,80 and 120Km ( model dependent). This makes it perfect for real-time applications like live broadcast or video transmission over long distances.

Real-Time Application:

  • Send Video and Extend LAN Simultaneously: You can use this system to transport live video (3G-SDI) from Point A to Point B, while at the same time extending your LAN network over the same fiber connection. This means you can connect computers, routers, or any IP-enabled devices alongside your video signals.

  • Example Use Case: For instance, at a remote location, a video camera can send live footage back to the studio (3G-SDI), while a PC or networked device can send or receive data (Gigabit Ethernet) over the same fiber. Both video and data travel securely and efficiently over the same link.

  • Passes SDI Embedded Audio and Ancillary Data: Transports SDI embedded audio and all ancillary data along with the video signal, providing a comprehensive solution for professional broadcast and live production applications.

  • Input Equalization and Reclocking for SDI: Features input equalization and reclocking for SDI video, ensuring clean, stable video signals on all buffered outputs—even over long distances.

  • Customizable for Bi-Directional Transport: The system can be configured for bi-directional transport of up to 16 total channels, allowing flexibility to handle multiple video and Ethernet signals in both directions over the same fiber.

  • Real-Time LED Indicators: Equipped with real-time status LED indicators for input signal detect, optical link, and Ethernet connectivity, making it easy to troubleshoot and monitor system performance.

  • Ethernet Port – Works as an unmanaged pass-through transceiver. It is not addressable with an IP address and essentially simulates an Ethernet extension cable over fiber, providing seamless Ethernet transport without the need for network configuration.
