Each bracket needs to be installed to enable mounting up to 12 individual modulators (H-HDMI-RF-PETIT) onto horizontal bars for a 19" rack

With the Modulator Rack, you get all the great features you love about the Petit bundled together in groups from 2-12 Petits. This is perfect for CATV modulation applications in bars, restaurants and any other place that needs up to 12 different HDMI signals modulated throughout their facility.

When you order a Thor Chassis System with any amount of modulators, you will get the horizontal rack bars, and enough rack ears for the amount of units purchased in your set. You just need to attached the horizontal bars to your 1RU Rack, followed by adding the rack ears to each Petit, and then using screws to fasten the Petit's into the horizontal bars. As with all of Thor Broadcast units, we will gladly handle presetting the units if you so wish, so once you add the units into the rack, plug in the power supplies, HDMI, and RF cables, you'll be ready to launch your RF system in no time.

Each L-bracket needs to be mounted on each side of the modulator, then secured into the horizontal bars (H-RM-PETIT).

All screws are included, 2 for the modulator and 2 for the horizontal bars

Hello, I was recently given an old TV that only has a coaxial cable input on the back. I want to run Roku on it, and was wondering if I just need a coax to hdmi converter to do so.

Answer:

It's actually the inverse, you would need an HDMI to Coaxial converter, which is called a modulator.

First I would check if your television is digital (QAM or ATSC), or if its analog NTSC.

If it's digital then we have a compact modulator at a low price of $469 here:

This device takes your HDMI and creates an RF channel, so you can view that device as a CATV channel on your television via the coax input which is a decoder.

However, reasonably speaking you can also buy an exceptionally large television for $469 so this might now be the best option for a single Television as these modulators are made to send a single source to countless televisions such as a bar or in a stadium. However if you'd like to keep your TV, this is an excellent choice for modulation
