There are devices allowed to instantly move uncompressed SDI signals up to 3G 1080p/60Hz from place to place over only one single-mode fiber up to 20 km. With an additional very desirable option, the transmitter with 8 SDI inputs has loop output, and the optical receiver has dual outputs allowing to utilize one output and also has the ability to monitor on the second mirrored output .
It supports the following optical transport signals:

This unit utilizes direct conversion from electrical 3G SDI to optical CWDM wavelengths, with each signal being multiplexed on its own designated light wavelength.
It supports all video formats, including both HDR and SDR, as 3G SDI handles both formats, and we are simply passing the signal through.
So, the short answer is YES—we have them in stock and can ship today if required.
SDR (Standard Dynamic Range) and HDR (High Dynamic Range) are video standards or formats that define the way brightness, contrast, and color are handled in video signals.
SDR refers to video content with a standard brightness and color range.
HDR is an advanced video format that offers a wider range of brightness, contrast, and color than SDR.
Aspect | SDR | HDR |
---|---|---|
Brightness | Up to 100 nits | Up to 1,000 nits or more |
Color Gamut | Rec. 709 | Rec. 2020 or DCI-P3 |
Contrast | Standard | Enhanced (better shadow & highlight detail) |
Visual Impact | Good for most displays | More immersive, lifelike images |
