Hermes 64 is an MPEG transcoder integrated with a CATV RF modulator for easy encoding, modulation, and signal distribution. The most popular video encoding format in the world is H.264 due to its efficiency, and it is used for IP and satellite video transmissions. However, the encoding standard used to transport video with CATV RF QAM or off-air modulation in the USA, Canada, and Mexico is actually MPEG2 video with Dolby AC3 audio. Most TV tuners purchased in those countries will not be able to decode RF signals carrying H.264. This is why the Hermes helps receive widely used H.264 IP streams, transcode them to the MPEG2 encoding format, and modulate them in J.32B QAM channels so that U.S., Canadian, and Mexican TVs will be able to display them, solving common distribution issues. A common application is receiving IP streams from satellite or IPTV providers through the satellite COM3000 gateway and converting them to the U.S. MPEG2 standard. The transcoded bit rate can be adjusted from 1-19Mbps. After encoding and multiplexing, the device will modulate the signals into DVB-T/T2, DVB-C, ATSC, and ISDB standards. Thanks to its IP input port on the front panel, it can take in the IP signal and output an RF signal as well, making it a well-rounded device for large-scale applications.

IPTV to 32 RF channel Analog NTSC PAL Modulator
IPTV streams to 32 analog channel modulator for modulation of digital IPTV MPTS or SPTS streams, converting digital programs to analog NTSC modulated channels. Most analog modulators have baseband video/audio CVBS inputs. This unique modulator has an IPTV input, decodes those streams internally to analog CVBS format, and modulates them on the NTSC analog channel carriers.
IP UDP MULTICAST TO 4ch CATV RF QAM ATSC DIGITAL MINI MODULATOR
The H-IPRF-4QAM is a compact IP-to-RF gateway that conveniently takes your UDP/RTP TS and converts it to digital CATV RF QAM, ATSC, or DVB-T & ISDB-T.
