Designed as part of the ThoriumIP Plug-and-Play IPTV ecosystem by THOR Broadcast, the application makes television distribution over an Ethernet network easier, faster, and more economical.
Simply install the ThoriumIP-TV application on a compatible television, connect it to the same local network as your ThoriumIP encoders, and open the application.
The software automatically discovers available ThoriumIP IPTV channels and displays their assigned names in an easy-to-use channel list.
No external set-top box. No manual multicast addresses. No individual IPTV playlist configuration.
1. Install the Application
Install the free ThoriumIP-TV application on a compatible Android TV or Google TV device.
2. Connect Your TV to the Network
Connect your television to the local Ethernet network used by your ThoriumIP IPTV encoders.
3. Automatic Channel Discovery
Launch the application. It automatically discovers IPTV channels available from compatible ThoriumIP encoders.
4. View Your Channel List
Available channels appear with the names assigned through the encoder's management interface.
For example:
Channel 1 – CNN
Channel 2 – ESPN
Channel 3 – FOX News
Channel 4 – Hotel Information
5. Select and Watch
Choose your preferred channel using the television's remote control and start watching.
