There are many high end security cameras out there that still shoot in standard composite video. Our line of baseband fiber transmitters are designed to extend the life of this equipment, add range and distance to the camera's and help assist with lower cost solutions versus HD-SDI options. Our fiber optic security transmitters still use the same high end 10 bit digital encoding that our broadcast transmitters use, just in a less expensive chassis. We offer many different configurations and services with this line of products. In addition to video we can also carry data, Ethernet, telephone, or audio in the same unit. High-Performance Fiber Optic Transmitter/Receiver for 8-Channel Composite Video

Designed for applications in security systems, broadcast, and digital signage, this 8-channel fiber optic transmitter and receiver kit provides reliable, high-quality transmission of 8 CVBS analog video channels in PAL/NTSC/SECAM formats over a single fiber link. Using Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM), the system operates at 1300 nm for one-way video transmission, ensuring stable, long-distance performance across diverse environments.

With standard 10-bit digital encoding, this unit guarantees broadcast-level video quality, extending the life and range of standard composite video equipment at a fraction of the cost of HD-SDI solutions. The Thor Fiber 8-Channel Composite Video over Fiber system supports single-mode or multimode fiber, enabling distances of up to 20 km, with models available for extended ranges of 40 km, 80 km, and 120 km, depending on the model.

The unit is equipped with LED indicators for power and signal monitoring, providing a user-friendly, plug-and-play solution for seamless video distribution over long distances.
