The F-10GIG-MC is a 10 Gigabit media converter and repeater for SFP- or XFP-based modules. Our two-slot chassis is available for dual SFP or XFP modules. We also offer conversion from SFP to XFP and vice versa. Our media converters are a dynamic fiber conversion system and are protocol transparent for 10 Gigabit links. Any 10 Gigabit SFP or XFP module can be used, including copper standards such as 10GBASE-CX4 or 10GBASE-T, for conversion to coax or twisted-pair cabling. The F-10GIG-MC is ideal for applications such as linking a 10 Gigabit switch via copper to a fiber backbone, or for linking two copper-connected 10 Gigabit servers over fiber. We also offer multiplexing solutions for WDM, CWDM, and DWDM. Please contact our engineering team for more details.
