The F-10GIG-MC is a 10 gigabit media converter and repeater for SFP or XFP based modules. Our two slot chassis is available for dual SFP or XFP modules. We also offer conversion from SFP to XFP and vise versa. Our media converters are a dynamic fiber conversion system and are protocol transparent for 10 gigabit links. Any 10 Gigabit SFP or XFP module can be used including copper standards such as 10GBASE-CX4 or 10GBASE-T for conversion to coax or twisted pair cabling. The F-10GIG-MC is ideal for applications such as linking a 10 Gigabit switch via copper to a fiber backbone, or for linking two copper connected 10 Gigabit servers over fiber.
