The H-VQAM-HDMI system combines the powerful real time hardware encoder from the QAM-IP platform with the compact VQAM chassis.  This revolutionary product finally allows you to afordably convert your full HD 1080p60 video sources to true digital TV channels.  Digital TV channel generation requires both an encoder and a modulator, VQAM combines both in a single 6 inch package.  All of the encoding performance of the QAM-IP line that you can hold in the palm of your hand.  Perfect for displaying computer content remote displays, or for local channel generation for any application.  Thor has streamlined its modulator line with VQAM, eliminating advanced features that are only useful for broadcasters.  This is the first digital true HD modulator system that is affordable enough for home use.  Just like the QAM-IP platform, VQAM can be used with any world modulation system with a simple firmware update.  Instead of a web interface, VQAM units come with a USB programer that can be used with any Windows, Mac, or Linux computer.  Firmware versions for all major modulation systems are available by request.
