IPTV and HDMI modulator solution for football soccer stadiums
Here are various options; some are only MPEG2, some are both MPEG2/H264
I forgot to ask if your TV's can decode each simultaneously? So you can send both without having a hiccup.
These are really popular encoders that output QAM and IPTV (mpeg2 and H264)
We also have them in 1 and 2 HDMI input models as well, the one above has 4 inputs.
These have extensive GUI's with numerous options including low latency.
The Thunder Modulators are excellent newer models that people love for Live events
They are quick like the models above, but No IPTV, and No H264; these are MPEG2 only
This Hybrid model is mixed use SDI and HDMI similar to the Thunder above
We have this Broadcast Encoder that is MPEG2/H264 which IPTV only
For those remote powerpoint presentations, and whatnot, these are very simple but very quick models. Perhaps those random locations you mentioned.
There are some videos on the page that show how quickly they can push a signal to a TV after changing channels and even pulling the power cable.
We do have racks for this, you can fit up to 12 a 3RU
RF to IP and IP to RF
We have these broadcast decoders, up to 16 QAM inputs, includes all majors and minors
On these we can go up to 32QAM for IP to QAM
These products are Gateways, so in essence they do not change the programs at all, simple and very fast conversion from one format to the other.
They have various inputs and output sizes depending on how many channels you want to convert.
I know this may seem like a lot, it's all relatively similar in scope. There's lots of info on these units available, I wanted you to take a look and gauge where your thoughts are on which would be more practical or beneficial. As I noted I went to games there like 20 years ago; I just remember walking for miles through tailgates in those huge lots! But for your outdoor bars, walkways, I think any of these are going to be significantly better then 2-3 seconds since we use these at Nascar and F1 tracks, all the pro sports leagues and endless colleges; I'm not sure if you can send mixed MPEG/H264 signals to your TV's and they still decode both.
