The Thor Broadcast H-2A-ENC is a professional two-channel audio encoder designed for digital broadcasting, IPTV, cable television, satellite contribution, hospitality television, and professional A/V distribution systems.
The unit accepts both balanced analog audio and AES/EBU digital audio through professional XLR interfaces and encodes the incoming audio using MPEG-1 Layer II or AAC.
An integrated ASI input allows external transport streams to be multiplexed with the encoded audio. Two independent ASI outputs provide selectable MPTS, SPTS1, or SPTS2 transport streams, while the Gigabit Ethernet interface delivers encoded content over UDP/RTP unicast or multicast IP networks.
Front-panel LCD controls and browser-based Web GUI management make the H-2A-ENC easy to configure and integrate into professional broadcast headends.

Low-latency, high-density HD encoding and multiplexing system for headend program generation. Accepts 8 HD-SDI inputs at up to 1080p60 and offers 9 IP outputs (8x SPTS, 1x MPTS) and dual ASI outputs containing all encoded programs. Also includes an ASI input for multiplexing an SPTS program with the outputs.
