Low-latency, HDCP-compliant, high-density HD encoding and multiplexing system for headend program generation. Accepts 8 HDMI inputs at up to 1080p60 and offers 9 IP outputs (8x SPTS, 1x MPTS) and dual ASI outputs containing all encoded programs. Also included is an ASI input for multiplexing an SPTS program with the outputs; passes HDCP.

The SPARTAN-4 has 4 input ports for HDMI/CVBS for MPEG4 AVC/H.264 video encoding and MPEG1 Layer 2, AAC, or AC3 audio encoding. It also allows playback of TS files through a USB port on the front of the unit. Supports up to 1080/60P full HD resolution and UDP/RTP (Unicast/Multicast), HLS, RTMP, and HTTP in low latency.
