The Thunder-2 HDMI IPTV Encoder is a professional, all-in-one encoding solution designed for reliable video distribution over IP networks. Unlike RF modulators, this unit focuses purely on IP streaming, eliminating the need for coaxial infrastructure and enabling flexible deployment across LAN, WAN, or internet-based systems.
The unit accepts two independent HDMI inputs, each encoded in real time using MPEG-2 or H.264 (if applicable depending on model) and streamed as separate IP outputs. Each channel can be configured as UDP or RTP multicast/unicast, allowing seamless integration into IPTV systems, digital signage networks, and enterprise video distribution.
With support for resolutions up to 1080p/60, the encoder ensures high-quality video delivery with low latency. Its efficient compression and streaming capabilities make it suitable for bandwidth-optimized networks while maintaining excellent image clarity.
The Thunder-2 is ideal for applications where video needs to be distributed over Ethernet instead of RF, such as corporate environments, campuses, hotels, stadiums, and security systems. It integrates easily with IP decoders, smart TVs, media players, or software-based video players.
Designed with reliability and ease of use in mind, the unit includes a web-based management interface (NMS), allowing users to configure streams, bitrates, and network settings remotely. Its compact design and stable 24/7 operation make it a dependable solution for professional IPTV deployments.
