The Thor Fiber Chassis systems are designed with system flexibility in mind. Our F-CHASSIS based systems have built-in WDM, CWDM, or DWDM fiber optic multiplexer systems for fiber optic transport. You simply select the modules that you want, and our system does the rest. Our standard modules include DVB ASI over fiber transport, Gigabit Ethernet over fiber, Video over fiber with Audio, and Digital Encoders / Decoders. Mix and match signal types, and even change modules once installed; our F-CHASSIS based systems are the most versatile optical multiplexing systems available. Our chassis systems have easy-to-read diagnostic LEDs for optical link status. We even offer an SNMP management option for remote monitoring of the system. The unit ships with standard SC or SC/APC fiber connectors.

Thor model # F-16SDI-Tx and F-16SDI-Rx are standard-configuration Fiber Optic Transmitters and Receivers for Serial Digital signals up to 3G-SDI running @ 3.0 Gbps. This system can be manufactured with any standard CWDM optics package, and internal passives are available by request. This is a 16 Channel system based on a standard 40km platform. No configuration or management is needed, as the system automatically adjusts to any input signal type regardless of bit rate or protocol. Easy-to-read LED indicators for input signal detection and optical link are present for all channels. Since the SDI TX card and RX side are in modular format, we can configure them in an Input-Output configuration, for example, 8 inputs and 8 outputs over a single fiber.
