It’s designed to work with professional sync sources (including BMD sync generators for 1080i50 environments) and preserves signal integrity over long runs—without drivers or software.
With a compact “integration-friendly” form factor, hot-pluggable SFP optics, and auto-sensing SD/HD sync status LEDs, it’s a simple, reliable way to distribute reference timing across campuses, OB setups, studios, and machine rooms where copper would be noisy, lossy, or distance-limited
