Fitness Studio - Livestream, OnDemand, Sound System 1. We're wanting to livestream and record our fitness class in the studio. The platform we'll use to stream and offer on-demand classes will be Mindbody - We'll need the livestream to turn on and off at a certain time, capture HD video + audio, and be Bluetooth/Wi-Fi compatible. - We'll need to have the livestream video recorded for on-demand purposes. We will need to be able to edit the recorded video slightly in software like Adobe Premiere Pro to add a watermark and opening/closing graphics and such. - Ideally, the camera is out of sight, mounted on the ceiling, with no other wires, cables, or computers in the studio. Can it communicate easily with a computer about 20 feet away in the room next door? Would we be able to see the livestream through that? What cables and software do we need to make this work that don't already come with the camera? 2. Sound system - 600sqft. space needed for loud workout music (need bass and depth of sound) - You had mentioned an amplifier with audio output that would sync well with livestreaming/recording classes. - Let me know what sound system bundle you'd recommend based on what we talked about. Ideally, the camera is in the middle of the ceiling, and the speakers are at the right & left front ceiling corners of the studio - but we're open to your input on this and what would work best.

Question:
I'm using OBS video streaming software. I would like to use 4 of your 20x PTZ cameras, but bring those videos via IP and not use HDMI or SDI and USB capture cards. Is it possible to use camera streaming IP video to my software over the existing LAN? I would like to use HDMI and SDI for local viewing, but it is inconvenient to wire a long HDMI cable to the PC. Please describe how to do it.

Answer:

Yes, absolutely. The camera is able to stream video as RTMP and RTSP streams. RTMP is usually used for direct streaming to services like YouTube or Facebook. You can use RTSP streaming to stream to your local PC running OBS or any other streaming software.

Please add "+" MEDIA SOURCE from the OBS menu.

Type RTSP syntax. On our camera, it should be rtsp://192.168.1.162:8554. 192.168.1.162 is our default IP address; it can be changed to any different address. 8554 is the default port number. Please note that your PC IP address needs to be on the same subnet as our cameras. For example, if our camera is 192.168.1.162, then you should set your NIC card IP address to 192.168.1.XX. XX is a number from 1-254, but it has to be unique on the network.

Question:
We want to use the Maximus Pro Fly camera with a PTZ camera controller, but with the controller speed at the lowest setting, the pan and tilt movements of the camera are too fast. Is there a setting in the camera to slow the pan and tilt speed?

Yes, you can slow down the speed. 1. Plug your computer into the NMS port of the device on the back of the camera. 2. You have to use a static IP address. (This video is for the Petit, but the IP numbers will work for you.) 3. Once you have completed this process, you can open your web browser and type in 192.168.1.162 (if you want to preview what the camera is seeing, then you must use Internet Explorer and install the ActiveX file right under the login window that is in blue "File") 4. Log in with Username: admin Password: admin. 5. Under PTZ on the Preview screen, there is a sliding - + scale under the arrows. Drag it towards the - to slow it down.
