Using ATSC QAM Set top box with the HDMI modulator

This drawing shows the a DVD player, which could be SD (Standard Definition) or HD (High Definition) source; connecting through HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) to the HDMI IN port in the Petit HDMI RF (Radio Frequency) Modulator. The signal is transcibed into QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) or ATSC (Advanced Television Systems Committee) and sent out of the RF Out on the Petit to a 2x1 RF Combiner. An ATSC antenna is plugged into the remaining RF combiner port. The signal is then sent through the RF Out on the 2x1 combiner to the RF In port on a 1x8 RF Splitter, so both orignal signals pass through all 8 ports on the splitter. From the RF Splitter there are five H-STB-QAM-ATSC set top boxes connected through CATV (Cable Television) COAX (Coaxial Cable) RF Distribution cables so HD content can be dispersed throughout your TV network. Each H-STB-QAM-ATSC set top box has USB (Universal Serial Bus) In, Analog RF Out, HDMI Out, CVBS (Composite Video Baseband Signal) Video Out and YPbPr (Component Video) Video Out; along with a IR (Infrared) remote control and switch to display on Channel 3 or Channel 4. The USB In can be used with a flash drive to load content directly to the set top box. In the drawing above each of the set top boxes is plugged into a different TV through the HDMI Out.
