This AV over fiber converter supports 1 channel of baseband composite video and up to 8 channels of audio, using a 12-bit uncompressed digital transmission system to ensure superior video clarity and high-fidelity audio. The fiber optic transmitter (TX) digitizes and converts video and audio signals into modulated optical signals, which are transmitted over fiber. The receiver (RX) converts the optical signal back into original analog video and audio with excellent accuracy.
Designed for professional environments, this video audio over fiber extender eliminates interference, noise, and signal loss commonly found in copper systems. It supports both single-mode and multi-mode fiber, with standard transmission distances up to 20 km on single-mode fiber and extended options up to 120 km.
