Flexibility comes with the Standard SFP slot. Any SFP can be used according to the project situation and need. SingleMode 20, 40, 80 or 120Km or 3000 feet over Multimode 850nm, 1310nm, 1550nm or any CWDM or DWDM SFP can be used 10/100/1000 SFP Media Converters, transparently connects 10/100/1000 copper to SFP-based multimode or single mode fiber. The pluggable fiber optics port allows for flexible network configurations.
The Thor F-GET-TR-SFP Ethernet Transceiver with SFP is designed for transporting a Gigabit Ethernet port over a fiber link from one location to another. The transceivers work in pairs, with one unit at each end of the link. Any network cable connected to the RJ-45 port on one unit is seamlessly transported to the corresponding RJ-45 port on the second unit. The devices operate transparently, meaning they are non-IP addressable, and any network traffic passing through the fiber link remains unmodified. This feature is particularly useful for connecting switches or other network devices in separate buildings or for extending an IP network over long distances.
By default, the F-GET-TR-SFP-A model comes with a 20 km single-fiber Simplex WDM SFP module operating at 1310 nm, while the F-GET-TR-SFP-B model comes with a 20 km single-fiber Simplex WDM SFP module operating at 1550 nm. To establish a fiber link, both the A and B models are required, providing a transmission distance of up to 20 km over a single fiber.
Additionally, customers have the flexibility to replace the pre-installed SFP modules with duplex SFP modules or any other CWDM SFP modules, as the F-GET-TR-SFP transceiver features an open SFP slot. This modular design allows for easy customization and compatibility with various fiber network configurations.

We do have solutions for converting signals over fiber. For IP phones specifically, you can use our 10/100/1000 Ethernet over fiber transceivers, which will allow you to connect and use them with your phone.
It would basically work just like a copper RJ45 cable, but over fiber.

You would need the A model on one side and the B model on the other side of the fiber link (using an LC/PC connector). You can plug your IP phone directly into the transceiver's RJ45 port. Alternatively, you could connect a small switch to provide more Ethernet ports, or even connect it to a WiFi gateway so you would have WiFi available in the room.
