The new Thor Broadcast high-density broadcast encoder has 12 HDMI input ports and 12 CC input ports (Closed Caption). This multi-channel encoder is a new broadcasting audio & video encoding and multiplexing device with powerful functionality. It is equipped with 12 HDMI audio & video input interfaces, 12 CC input ports (Closed Caption), and 32 IP inputs over UDP and RTP through Data1. It supports both MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 HD/SD video encoding, MPEG1 Layer II, MPEG2-AAC, MPEG4-AAC, Dolby Digital AC3 (2.0) audio encoding (Optional), and AC3 (2.0/5.1) pass-through. Its high integration and cost-effective design make this device widely used in a variety of digital distribution systems such as CATV digital head-end, satellite, and terrestrial digital TV, etc.

Broadcast-quality SD program encoding from analog composite baseband video inputs on BNC terminals with stereo audio. All programs are multiplexed to MPTS outputs on ASI and IP. SPTS outputs are available for all programs on IP. All settings are managed through the LCD panel or web management.
