The 16 Channel CVBS Video and RS485 Over Fiber Extender is a professional solution for transmitting 16 channels of baseband analog video (CVBS) and RS485 data over a single fiber optic cable. This BNC video over fiber system is designed for CCTV, surveillance, and security camera applications, delivering reliable, long-distance signal transmission with no interference or signal loss.
The system supports PAL, NTSC, and SECAM video formats, with 1Vp-p, 75Ω BNC video inputs, ensuring compatibility with standard analog camera systems. Using 8-bit digital encoding and 15 MHz sampling, the unit provides high-quality video over fiber transmission with excellent performance, including SNR >63 dB, low distortion (DG <1%, DP <0.5), and stable bandwidth up to 8.192 MHz.
In addition to video, the system includes bi-directional RS485 data transmission, allowing remote control of cameras such as PTZ systems. The RS485 channel supports data rates up to 23.04 Kbps and is accessible via a terminal block connector.
This fiber optic CCTV extender eliminates noise, ground loops, and signal degradation associated with copper cabling, making it ideal for long-distance video over fiber applications. It supports both single-mode and multi-mode fiber, e
