This audio video over fiber extender is designed for transmitting 2 channels of composite video and 4 channels of analog audio over a single fiber optic cable. It provides reliable, broadcast-quality AV-over-fiber transmission for long-distance applications.
The system includes a matched fiber optic transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX), supporting both single-mode and multi-mode fiber. Using 10-bit digital transmission technology, the unit ensures stable, interference-free video and audio over fiber, eliminating noise, signal loss, and distortion common with copper cabling.
Designed for flexibility, the unit supports both single-mode and multi-mode fiber, with standard transmission distances up to 20 km on single-mode fiber and extended options available up to 120 km for long-haul applications.
The F-2V4A multiplexer combines multiple video and audio signals into one fiber, reducing cabling complexity and cost. Thor Fiber also offers custom and high-density video-over-fiber solutions, including systems capable of multiplexing multiple video and audio channels or supporting bi-directional fiber transmission.

The F-8XLR-HiFi-TX/RX is a HiFi professional audio optical transceiver with a 3-PIN XLR interface and performs high-quality 1~8-ch HiFi audio transmission over an optical line. In the Fiber Optic Transmitter, high-quality audio signals are converted to digital signals and then converted to optical signals for transmission. The Fiber Optic Receiver performs photoelectric conversion from the modulated light signal to the analog XLR signal output. Used for professional, extremely high-quality audio transmission over fiber.
