H-24AV-IP  24 Ch SD Program Encoder/Modulator 

Real Time Encoder for 24 CVBS Composite to H.264 streams on ASI or IP outputs

This 24-channel encoder is specifically designed to convert 24 channels of Analog SD video and audio content into ASI and IP outputs. Each of the 24 RCA inputs can be independently configured for bit rate and PID management. The encoder has high-level H.264 video and MPEG1 Layer 2 or Dolby AC3 codec, supporting bit rates of up to 8 Mbps per channel. This platform is ideal for reducing the rack space required for SD program encoding for content source origination and distribution. It is ideally suited for CATV headend program aggregation or high-end CCTV systems. All encoded programs are multiplexed into a multi-program transport stream (MPTS) output on both ASI and IP. Additionally, single-program transport stream (SPTS) outputs are provided for all inputs on the IP network output. All settings are accessible via the front panel and a web-based network management system. This unit also includes a one-channel ASI input that can multiplex one additional program into the outputs from an ASI source. This highly flexible system significantly lowers the cost per channel for real-time SD video encoding.
