The F-MININODE is an HFC return path transmitter and RF optical receiver for use in fiber-to-the-home applications. The unit has 45-1000MHz RF outputs for digital TV as well as an optional optical transmitter for the 5-45MHz cable modem return path. We carry two-fiber units as well as WDM single-fiber units. The F-MININODE has many applications in Hybrid Fiber Coax systems and for fiber-to-the-home applications. This is a compact and highly reliable unit for use with analog, digital video, and bi-directional data transmission in HFC networks.
Thor has a dedicated team for FTTx applications. Every fiber optic cable system is different. We can provide a wide variety of OLT and ONU units to meet your FTTx and GPON needs. Contact a sales engineer today for help in determining what equipment is needed for your fiber optic system.
- Excellent linearity and flatness
- Extremely good return loss
- Compact construction, lower power consumption
- WDM option to achieve single-fiber bi-directional transmission
- Multi-communication transmitting wavelength and power optional
IMPORTANT NOTE*** (It is very important to interface our unit with SC/APC - Angle Polished Connector to avoid any light reflections.)
If your fiber is terminated with the SC, ST, FC /PC flat connector, you need to use an optical jumper from PC type to SC/APC for proper conversion.

Wireless Microphone RF Audio Signal Over Fiber Optic Extender (Antenna Link)
Thor Sound RoF is a Fiber Optic Remote Antenna Distribution System (Radio over Fiber). It converts RF signals from wireless microphones into optical signals and sends them over single-mode fiber optic cable for distances over 10 km, then converts them back to RF at the receiver. This lets you place antennas far from the receiver while keeping high-quality audio. Includes a compact transmitter and receiver pair with BNC RF connectors and FC/APC optical connectors.
