Digital TV RF modulation is a great method for distributing high-definition video signals in almost any application. You can combine hundreds of video programs onto a single coaxial cable that can be easily split, amplified, and distributed to a large number of displays. Most televisions have built-in QAM or ATSC digital TV tuners, so displaying video on a screen is as simple as tuning to the correct channel. However, modern codecs such as H.264 are not supported by many early digital-ready displays. Also, there are many legacy display systems without digital tuners. The solution is to use a Digital TV Set Top Box Tuner / Decoder.
These units function like any standard digital TV tuner and have every video and audio output format that you could need. Thor Set Top Boxes are tested to work with our modulators and support decoding of both video codecs. These units can decode both MPEG-2 and H.264 without the need to change any settings. This allows programs output by a Thor Modulator using the more dense H.264 to be viewed on displays that do not support this format, as well as legacy non-digital TVs. You can also use this STB to display Digital TV on computer monitors and other display systems without tuners.

IPTV to Encrypted 8, 16 or 24 RF QAM/ATSC Modulator
Scrambling QAM/ATSC modulator for IP edge QAM applications. Each module supports up to 256 individual SPTS or 8 MPTS IP transport streams and 8 outputs. Encrypted or clear QAM RF frequencies in two groups of 4 adjacent channels. A chassis with 3 modules will input 24 IPTV streams and output a total of 24 QAM HD channels.
HDMI Modulator with return remote control IR - Digital Full HD 1080p ATSC, QAM J.83B, DVB-T, ISDB-T over Coax
H-HDMI-RF-Petit-IR Compact Universal Digital QAM, ATSC RF Encoder, and RF Modulator w/ IR return path and HDMI loop-out to control an HDMI video source remotely over the coax (Application Example: The modulator and cable TV box HDMI source can be located in one place, and a user can send commands from the STB remote control and change the channel on the STB from any other location where the TV is located over the coaxial network, so the modulator sends RF channels to all TV locations, and IR can be sent from the TV to the STB over the same coax wiring)
