The Thor Broadcast H-H264IP-E is a single-channel encoder streamer with multiple input options to stream any HDMI input into an MPEG4 stream that is web-managed and can be viewed over LAN or the Public Internet. Question:
We used Hikvision cameras. We would like to send an HDMI signal to your unit over the internet, hardwired to a smart TV. Giving it an IP address so that it loads the cameras that we select for the TV to see, without there being any latency. We would be using their NVR to your unit, the Thor.

Answer:
Regardless, there will be latency if this is over the public Internet; the encoder and decoder also add latency. Also, you'll probably have to use an IP-STB, as the stores within TVs do not allow downloads of such apps on purpose. That particular H-H264-E is only the encoder side; it is used over the public Internet. It also requires very good public Internet for transmission of the IPTV. It supports UDP, RTP, RTSP, RTMP, HTTP, HLS video streaming protocols. On the receiving side, you could use an IP STB on the other side.
