Question and Answers
Regardless there will be latency if this is over Public Internet, the encoder, and decoder also add latency. Also you'll probably have to use an IP-STB as the stores within TV's do not allow for downloads of such apps on purpose. The only way to remove latency is to send the camera feed over Fiber. https://thorbroadcast.com/product/compact-ip-decoder-set-top-box.html Our Box comes equipped with the software you can use to decode the IP Stream
That particular H-H264-E is only just the encoder side; using this unit over the public internet. It also requires very good public internet for transmission of the IPTV. It supports UDP, RTP, RTSP, RTMP, HTTP, HLS video streaming protocols On the receiving side, you could use IP STB on the other side, the part number is H-STB-IP, it has IP input and HDMI output https://thorbroadcast.com/product/compact-ip-decoder-set-top-box.html We have a much more sophisticated unit that is an HDMI, SDI CVBS encoder/decoder pair that is much better suited for transmission over public internet: https://thorbroadcast.com/product/3g-sdi-hdmi-1080p50-60-streaming-video-server-encoder-client-8230.html
