The F-LB61-DWDM system from Thor Broadcast is designed to deliver 6 independent coax feeds from satellite antennas over fiber optic cable. These systems are similar to the standard LB61 systems from Thor, but with upgraded laser optics compatible with EDFA optical amplifiers. L-Band fiber optic transmitters are designed to overcome the distance limitations of coax cables in satellite TV systems. In addition to delivering satellite TV, DWDM type systems can also be used to deliver Internet or Data services over the same fiber. This allows delivery of triple play type systems over a single strand of fiber optic cable.
The most recent advances in some premium satellite TV content provider packages now use additional polarities from a third LNB. These systems have 5 or 6 coax cables leading up to the satellite dish antenna. For satellite TV LTTH systems that require more than 4 antenna coax feeds, Thor F-LB61 systems now provide support for up to 6. This system integrates 6 independent and customizable DWDM laser systems in one chassis. Each laser converts the incoming satellite TV signal into a fiber optic signal in the DWDM range. Since the optical signal output is DWDM, this platform is ideal for use with EDFA optical amplifiers. Any standard configuration F-LB61-DWTX transmitter is an ideal starting point for entry level LTTH systems requiring service to more than 16 locations. Since the output can be optically amplified with EDFAs, this transmitter can serve as a starting point in a scalable system. As more locations require service, additional optical amplifiers can be purchased instead of requiring additional expensive transmitters. In addition to delivering satellite TV without needing satellite dishes, LTTH and F-LB61 can integrate high speed optical internet service via GPON or AE. These technologies allow the internet service to be delivered over the same fiber as the satellite TV service. The fiber cable can be split in the field, and fan out to cover additional areas.
Thor LTTH (L-Band to the Home) systems allow community developers and MDU operators to offer residents satellite TV and high speed internet services without the need to install satellite antennas at each location. LTTH uses a single master satellite Antenna as the signal source and distributes the complete antenna signal including multiple polarities over a single strand of singlemode fiber optic cable (SM-FOC). LTTH is similar to Thor FTTH and other fiber to the home systems but is designed specifically for satellite TV distribution requiring multiple coax runs to the antenna. Traditional FTTH systems do not operate at L-Band frequencies and are usually based on a single optical RF channel at 1550nm. LTTH is based on multiple RF laser transmitters with all optical multiplexers and passives built into the unit. All RF inputs are combined into a single fiber optic output that can be amplified and distributed through multiple levels of EDFAs and PLCs. LTTH allows delivery of higher bandwidth satellite TV services with the convenience of terrestrial cable FTTH type architectures.

• All 6 Lasers are DWDM type based on ITU-100GHz with 1.4nm ch spacing
• Supports ultra wide frequency range (up to 45-3000 MHz) for all world systems
• Scalable platform for satellite TV over fiber LTTH systems up to 5000+ receivers
• Delivers entire satellite lineup to each receiver, equivalent to 6 coax cables
• Fully customizable for any optical channels in the ITU-100GHz system
IMPORTANT NOTE*** (it is very important to interface our unit with SC/APC - Angle Polished Connector to avoid any light reflections.
If your fiber is terminated with the SC, ST, FC /PC flat connector, you need to use an optical jumper from PC type to SC/APC for proper conversion.

4x Ch L-Band DWDM Transmitter for Satellite TV. Designed for delivery of satellite service to more than 5000 locations, or to be used as a satellite to home LTTH system. Used similarly as many CATV FTTH systems, instead LTTH units transport 4 independent satellite signals off the Dish and mux them into a single fiber. DWDM light spectrum could be amplified by EDFA, this is why we can distribute the
