The Thor Broadcast H-IRD Integrated Reciever Decoder is a professional quality broadcast Reciever and Decoder used for decoding MPEG2 or MPEG4 transport streams. The unit features professional quality outputs with the following formats: HDMI, YPbPr, CVBS, HD-SDI, or IP. The ability to recieve and rebroadcast IP streams is a unique feature of the Thor H-IRD. If I am using a pair of H-1SDI-QAM-IPLL Encoder and H-IRD-V3 decoder units to send video over the public internet, does the encoder need a static IP or just the decoder?
