Bi-directional Cable TV Fiber Break Diagram

  1. Home
  2. Bi-directional Cable TV Fiber Break Diagram

This picture shows the cable TV signal being split by an RF splitter then one end of the split going to the 2mW CATV RF over Fiber F-RF-TX and the other end of the split going to 4 Channel Cable TV Return Path Receiver. The signal is transported over Coaxial cable to the RF In ports on both devices. From both the receiver and the transmitter the SC/APC (Standard Connection/Angled Polished connection) fiber optic cables connect to the Optical Mini-node - CATV RF Reciever with Return Path - High RF output power 48dBmV. The mininode has the abilty to send in both directions allowing it to send and receive.
