The Thor Fiber RCA Audio Over Fiber System is a professional solution for transmitting line-level analog audio over fiber optic cable across long distances without the limitations of traditional copper wiring. This RCA audio over fiber extender provides reliable, high-quality audio transmission with zero signal degradation and immunity to noise and interference.
Available in multiple configurations supporting 2 to 32 channels of unbalanced RCA audio, these systems are offered in both compact standalone units and rack-mount 1RU designs, making them ideal for flexible installations. Each kit includes a matched fiber optic transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX), supporting both single-mode and multi-mode fiber.
The system uses 24-bit digitally encoded audio transmission to deliver broadcast-quality audio over fiber, ensuring excellent signal integrity over long distances. Standard transmission distances reach up to 20 km on single-mode fiber and 3 km on multi-mode fiber, with longer-distance options available.
This fiber optic audio converter is widely used in broadcast, live events, concerts, theaters, stadiums, houses of worship, theme parks, CCTV audio systems, intercom systems, and professional AV applications. The F-8XLR-HiFi-TX/RX is the HIFI professional audio optical transceiver with 3-PIN XLR interface, performs high-quality 1~8-ch HIFI audio transmission over an optical line. Fiber Optic Transmitter High-Quality audio signals are converted to digital signals and then converted to optical signals for transmission. Fiber Optic Receiver does the photoelectric conversion from modulated light signal to the analog XLR signal output. Used for professional and extremely high-quality audio transmission over the fiber.
