Hybrid RF CATV Electrical and Optical Distribution Application Drawing

This drawing descibes two H-4ADHD-QAM-IPLL HDMI modulatrs with 4  HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) inputs connected by coaxial RF (Radio Frequency) cable to the RF CATV Transmitter F-RF-TX. The F-RF-TX then converts the RF signal to fiber optic light transmission and sends the data through the SC/APC (Standard Connection/Angled Polished Connection) cable, connected to the F-PLC-1x2-128 fiber optic splitter. From the splitter, the SC/APC cables connect to CATV RF Receivers. The fiber optic cables can travel anywhere from 0-80km to their destination. The F-RF-RX-MN each have an RF Splitter connected to them, enabling them to broadcast to multiple TVs with the same content. Each signal is split from the Receiver to the TVs after being converted.

Using fiber optic instead of copper coaxial cables offers several advantages:
